This is a story
As if told by Borges
But the Latin Greek
And biblical references
All of the arcane texts
Have been replaced by
Unpublished poetry lines
Written in hidden moments
Where mirrors speak to each other
Overheard by the Minotaur
Who has forgotten how to read
Though surrounded by libraries
Of all that has been written
In the endless world
He may have created
Where nothing is certain
He has tired of solitude
And awaits the Savior
Who may come with a sword
Or send Noah’s dove
Perhaps a rainbow
But Theseus comes
Surprised the Minotaur
Acquiesces so easily
To be one again
With all that is
