Palm fronds and butterflies
Flutter in the trade winds
Shadows look East
In late afternoon light
Across the grass sloping
To the blue rumbling waves
At the cottage overlooking the beach
Nothing in particular was accomplished

I like this a lot even though you are just rubbing in the fact that you're in Hawaii right now. It's a wonderful snapshot of your afternoon and I can imagine you and Gemma sitting there, reading and writing and talking.
