The hypothesis was:
If you fall in love,
They will fall in love.
So much for science
And hypotheses.
Perhaps metaphysics assists
With fundamental questions:
Why is there something
rather than nothing? Why is
There friendship rather than love?
Heidegger offers no resolution,
No insights from predecessors,
No insights among successors.
Spiritual searches, equally
Inconclusive, barren and elusive.
Hypothetically it seems,
That love simply is.
