pauses like geologic epochs
actors moving through clear gelatin
time on quaaludes
crawling into seabottom mud
and starving to death

I should be a director
--- after the fact. I could hire out to tweak others' work; see the execution problems within the director's concept and do surgery. Is there such a job?
